Hi! My name is Callie, and I'm the owner of Poetry For Your Eyes. I'm 22 years old and I live in Orem, UT. I got married in July of 2023, and we've so enjoyed building a life together. I work full time as an executive assistant, but this side hustle has always been a dream of mine.
Behind the Scenes of Poetry For Your Eyes
I've always loved writing poetry. I once wrote in a poem that "sunsets are like visual music," and thus the term "poetry for your eyes" was born. I started making and selling hand-embroidered shirts in 2020 during the pandemic right before I graduated high school, and it seemed like the perfect name for the style I was going for.
My vision for the clothing I sell is that people won't come up to you and say, "Wow, that's the cutest shirt!" But instead, "That's a very interesting shirt," which then sparks a conversation. I want to truly represent character and imagination with each of the designs I create. I want the wearer to feel like their personality is right there on the shirt.
I've put my heart and soul into Poetry For Your Eyes, and I'm having the time of my life. I hope you can see the visual music in everything my shop has to offer! Thank you for repping my imagination.
